Christmas Program

I had my very first Christmas program at church. We sang lots of Christmas songs. It was so much fun! I wanted to dance while I was singing. Every now and again I threw in a few dance moves.

Santa came early to my house!

Look who is starring in the next High School Musical. That is right! Me, Caylin Grimm! How about that! Santa came early to my house because I am going to Disney World.

Dr. OZ on the Oprah show Talks about Lyme Disease

This is what I could fit in for my story. Please write your story to Dr. OZ for the Oprah show on Lyme Disease and tell how it affected you or the person with Lyme Disease. Please. Thank you.

Lyme Disease: Flu like symptoms with Church youth group white water rafting trip. Temp of 104 they cut the trip short. This began a 4 year nightmare.27 Doctors for 4 years not knowing what was wrong. As I Never felt good but looked normal. I am 33 years old now and it has been17 years since I got sick for the first time. I missed 180 days of high school in my last two years. I passed out in locker rooms during halftime after running the ball for touchdowns passed out catching the ball on the baseball fields. I told mom I would rather die doing something I loved doing playing sports. Some Nurse in town slapped my face to try and get me to move off of the stretcher in the ER onto the table. If I could have moved her life would have been in my hands instead I passed out again. One time some 5 Doctors got together and said I was lying and playing games at one of the so called top hospitals in the world. I felt like people hated me. Sharp shooting stabbing Stomach aches made me pass out or headaches that were ten times worse than a migraine. Chronic nose bleeds took hours to get over. Vomiting up blood was scary. A lot of times I couldn’t move for days. It took me forever just to get across the room. I had red blotches all over my body but never a bull's eye rash. I was diagnosed by my family because they never gave up. So after I felt I wanted to end my life early and had no care to live God stepped in with my family taking me to another Doctor. Treatment was for 11/2 years. I have told thousands of people at one time on many different occasions about Lyme Disease. I am blessed and thank God everyday for my health, my wife, our daughter, our family and friends. I pray that more people esp. Doctors will know how to treat patients properly. Long doses of antibiotics work. Why aren't we doing this everywhere? I am healthy now and race for an Elite cycling Team against some of the best Pro Cyclist.

Polar Express

I went with Mommy and Daddy to the Polar Express at our library. We all wore our P.J.'s. Just like in the movie, they passed out hot chocolate and cookies for us to enjoy. Yummy! At the end, Santa came! I sat on his lap and told him my list of items I want for Christmas. I want bunk beds for my babies, a swimming Ariel doll, and High School Musical Stuff. I told him I have been a really good girl this year.

Our Sweet Girl

Caylin your the best daughter! We love you so much!

Radio City Christmas Spectacular

On Saturday I went to see the Rockettes at the State Theater in Cleveland. I was in awe of the pretty dancers. They wore lots of pretty costumes. My favorites were the red Santa dress and the reindeer outfit. Santa was also there. He was very funny. One part of the show they did magic and had a bunch of Santa's. I don't know how they did it, but it was amazing. I know there is only ONE SANTA. At the end of the show they had a Live Nativity scene. I wanted Mary to take baby Jesus out of the manger so I could get a better look at him!
When I got home I practiced my Rockette dancing. I tried kicking my legs way up high! I even went in my closet and had multiple costume changes!

Old Car Ride

We went to Hagerstown, Maryland for Thanksgiving to visit Great Grandma and Grandpa Grimm. While we were their I got to ride in Uncle Roy's (antique)old car. I love riding in Pa Pa's Old Car in Orrville. This old car didn't have windows, it was burr cold on the ride. Thank goodness Pa Pa's has windows so I can stay toasty warm.

We also celebrated Great Grandma and Grandpa's 60th wedding anniversary.

Playing in a Winter (Fall) Wonderland!

Today was the first snow of the year. When Caylin woke up this morning and looked outside and saw all the snow, she exclaimed "It is almost Christmas!" The second thing she said was, "Let's go play outside, Mommy!". I am NOT a cold weather person, but I was a good Mommy and took her out for a whopping 15 minutes. It was BURR Cold out, as Caylin put it.

Charles Schulz

The following is the philosophy of Charles Schulz, the creator of the 'Peanuts' comic strip.

You don't have to actually answer the questions.
Just read the e-mail straight through, and you'll get the point.

1. Name the five wealthiest people in the world.
2. Name the last five Heisman trophy winners.
3. Name the last five winners of the Miss America pageant.
4. Name ten people who have won the Nobel or Pulitzer Prize.
5. Name the last half dozen Academy Award winners for best actor and actress.
6. Name the last decade's worth of World Series winners.
How did you do?

The point is, none of us remember the headliners of yesterday.
These are no second-rate achievers.
They are the best in their fields.
But the applause dies.
Awards tarnish.
Achievements are forgotten.
Accolades and certificates are buried with their owners.

Here's another quiz. See how you do on this one:
1. List a few teachers who aided your journey through school.
2. Name three friends who have helped you through a difficult time.
3. Name five people who have taught you something worthwhile.
4. Think of a few people who have made you feel appreciated and special!!
5. Think of five people you enjoy spending time with.
Easier?

The lesson:
The people who make a difference in your life are not the ones with the most credentials.. the most money...or the most awards. They simply are the ones who care the most.

Pass this on to those people who have made a difference in your life, like I did.

'Don't worry about the world coming to an end today.
It's already tomorrow in Australia !'
''Be Yourself. Everyone Else Is Taken!'

1 John 4: 16- 21

16And so we know and rely on the love God has for us. God is love. Whoever lives in love lives in God, and God in him. 17In this way, love is made complete among us so that we will have confidence on the day of judgment, because in this world we are like him. 18There is no fear in love. But perfect love drives out fear, because fear has to do with punishment. The one who fears is not made perfect in love.

19We love because he first loved us. 20If anyone says, "I love God," yet hates his brother, he is a liar. For anyone who does not love his brother, whom he has seen, cannot love God, whom he has not seen. 21And he has given us this command: Whoever loves God must also love his brother.

Son: Billy Graham's work with presidents ends

On his 90th birthday, preacher prays for Obama, Franklin Graham says

CHARLOTTE, N.C. - Billy Graham's work as a pastor to presidents is coming to an end, but he is praying for Barack Obama as the nation's next leader begins his work, Graham's son said Friday on the aging evangelist's 90th birthday.

Franklin Graham said in an interview that his father's mind remains sharp even as his body continues to fail. But the preacher who has counseled every president beginning with Eisenhower is not in line to mentor Obama.

"My father feels like his time and day for that is over," Franklin Graham said. "But he would certainly like to meet (Obama) and pray with him."

Graham's views of the world are still respected in White House circles. Republican presidential candidate John McCain visited Graham at his mountainside home during the campaign, and Obama tried to meet Graham but wasn't able to do so because of the preacher's poor health.

Though never partisan in his preaching, Billy Graham is a registered Democrat. His son expressed concern about Obama's views on abortion and gay marriage — an issue Franklin Graham raised in a meeting with the Illinois senator — saying that he and his father are conservatives who believe the Bible speaks clearly on those issues.

"President-elect Obama heard our position," Franklin Graham said. "And I told him that this was very difficult for us and hard for us. It's a moral issue that we just can't back down on."

"But he's our president-elect, and those positions that he holds that are contrary to Biblical teaching, I hope that God will change his heart," said Graham, who now heads the Charlotte-based Billy Graham Evangelistic Association.

Carving My Smelly Pumpkin

I carved my pumpkin last night. Last year when Mommy carved my pumpkin I couldn't handle the pee yewey smell and I started gagging. I decided I would try it again this year. I helped take out the seeds, but again it was super stinky! Mommy had to do it by herself. I told Mommy I wanted a scarey looking pumpkin. I hope it doesn't scare too many people!

High School Musical 3

Mommy and Daddy took me to the movies to see High School Musical 3. (Daddy is such a good sport!) I loved that movie so much. I liked all the singing and dancing.

When we came home I was Gabriella and Daddy was Troy. I watched High School Musical 1 and 2 all afternoon on Sunday. I just love, love, love it!

Grandma got me the Troy and Gabriella dolls. They are so cute!

(Mommy and Daddy like the movies because they are innocent clean fun movies.) It is nothing like the movie Grease.

The Idea's I Come Up With

Daddy had a race on Sunday and I wanted to give him a race plan for the day. I told him I wanted him to win and put his hands up. I told him he needed to wreck the other guys to do this. (What happened to our nice sweet Caylin.) She gets her competitiveness from her Dad. LOL

Happy 89th Birthday Granny!

Happy Birthday Granny! 89 wonderful years old! We love you so much!

Many of you don't know my Granny, but let me share a few things about her. Granny got in the water at Kalahari this year. She went on the Scrambler ride this year at Cedar Point. Granny also went with us to Boo at the Zoo. She is also going with me to Disney World for 8 days at Christmas. She can keep up with all of us. Sometimes she does better than all of us. Granny still drives herself to go shopping at Walmart, Kohls's, Elder Beermen, and Penney's. She is a go go girl!
Granny comes to see me at least once a week. I can call her all by myself on the phone. Sometimes I call her 3 or 4 times a day, maybe more.
Happy Birthday Granny, we love you!

Freedom???

This Country we live in (U.S.A.) has been and continues to lose it's freedom. If you have kids in school right now I hope and Pray they don't have to listen to stories about Adam and Steve. The founding Fathers wanted the U.S.A. to be a Christian Country not a Muslim Country. They quoted from the Bible not the Koran. Watch this video if you want to vote for people that will allow same sex marriage in the states that vote for it like Barack said. Vote for McCain if you want to eliminate same sex marriage.

Very depressing story to watch so please be advised.

Boo at the Zoo

I got to go to Boo at the Zoo at the Cleveland Metropark Zoo. I loved seeing everyone in their costumes. I posed for pictures with a lot of different animal characters. I went on a train ride, saw a magician, and a creepy crawley animal show.

My favorite part was dancing on stage to High School Musical songs. They taught us the steps to one of their songs. I was not shy at all about dancing in front of 100+ people.

I am going to go see High School Musical 3 this Friday when it comes out! Mommy and Daddy can't believe that I already like this movie. They think that I am a little too young! I don't think so though!

Family in Georgia, Greenville Race and the Smoky Mountains

With Family in Georgia we went to the race in Greenville, SC yesterday. Tried every break and knew I wouldn't have anything for the sprint in the end. So I tried solo and also with breaks but no one wanted to work with me. Took a $25 early and so I was happy the rest of the race. Met George and Rich Hancapie and gave them pics that Dad took when we were 9. Went to Church this morning with Brad and Jessie, Awesome Church! Caylin was very very sad to leave Brad and Jessie. It wasn't long before Caylin and I were pretending to be them. She still has to do the whole getting married part with the rings and kiss thing, so much Drama! LOL I will always remember these great times with her. Daddy Loves you Caylin your the best girl! After we ate at O'Charley's or should I say after I ate everyone elses meals we said our goodbyes and left to go to the Smoky Mountains, great idea dad! I could live in those mountains forever! God sure can make a beautiful picture to last a lifetime. Best time on a bike I have ever had. I could quit racing forever and just spend my vacation riding in the mountains.

Break out the warm clothes!

It was burr cold out this morning. I had to wear my winter coat. Bummer! I had a great weekend. We just relaxed at home together as a family. Daddy took me on a night ride in the pitch dark. He had his bike light on which is really bright. I just had to be careful of the bumps on the sidewalk. Mommy said she might go next time.

Ballerina

Kalahari sent me my finished ballerina in the mail. I was so excited when I first saw her. I am so proud of it! Mommy and Daddy are impressed with it, too! I have to be very careful when I touch her because I don't want her to break.

I love you Snoopy!

I have no fear!

We went to Cedar Point this past weekend. This was great preparation for our trip to Disney World at Christmas! I rode lots of rides. I rode the kiddie demon drop. I just laughed and squeeled with excitement the entire time. I rode it 3 times. I also rode grown up rides. I rode the scrambler, matterhorn, and a big pirate ship that rocks back and forth.

Kalahari Indoor Waterpark

I had a blast at the waterpark! I loved riding down the lazy river with Mommy and Daddy. We got really wet when we went under the waterfalls. It even had tunnels! Everyone knows how I love my tunnels!

I went in the wave pool. I took turns riding on a tube with Mommy and Daddy. I loved riding the waves. I went clear out to the deepest part of the pool! I have no fear of anything. I was laughing the whole time!

I went down lots of water slides that were my size. I went flying down them! I played with lots of stuff that sprayed water.
I can't wait to go back some day!!!!

Lot's of Stuff to Do at Kalahari

While I was at Kalahari I got to paint a piece of pottery. I painted a ballerina. I was very careful when I painted. I took my time so it would look beautiful. I couldn't take it home with me because they had to put it in a kiln. They are going to send it to my house.

I golfed with Mommy and Daddy! Daddy gave me lots of advice and instruction. I didn't always listen. I wanted to do it MY WAY!
I also got my picture taken with an eleven week old tiger. He was drinking a bottle when I petted him. He was cute!

Kalahari Indoor Waterpark

Grandma took Mommy, Daddy, and I to the Kalahari Waterpark. Granny came along with us too! When we pulled up to the resort I was so excited. I said, "We're here, we're here!"

I got to meet Kenya the elephant. He was so cute! I gave him a hug! (I will have no problems going up to characters when we go to Disney in December.)

Response

Dear Friend: Updated Daily as States and Nations are added...It's Global - To God be the Glory! 9/26/08

Thanks for email regarding my McCain & Palin Ministry Experience. Lebanon, Ohio USA Date: 9/9/08

YES...it'a all true and to show you what God is doing...CBN (Christian News Broadcasting) picked
up the story and has literally sent it - GLOBAL. Into our humble Office - averaging 135 emails
per hour...and have already heard from 49 States and Mainland China, India, Australia, Canada, British Isles & Kuwait and now Pakistan, Iraq, Russia, Japan and Africa and Israel. "Praise the Lord!"

I didn't sell my story, they requested that I release it in Email form...and I wouldn't take 1 Million dollars
for it, because at the desperate days we are living in, the economy for me is not my motive.
I WANT the TRUTH of GOD to be revealed and received!

In no way is this self-promotion. All I know is the Word says in Romans 13:1 "There is no authority except that which God has established."

Daniel 2:21 challenges us to take our right to vote for those individuals we believe will best serve our
nation - under the guidance of the powerful GOD who "sets up kings and deposes them."

God Himself - in His Own way -- is working out His plan for our Nation!

V - Victory over Oppression - Our founding Father's founded our Nation on GOD!
O - One Nation under God - Our Friend that we can rely on is GOD ALMIGHTY!
T - The Right to Choose - Our Freedom is that GOD will allow us to join in on the process.
E - Extending the Experience and Experiment - Our Future is settled because GOD does not fail.

You and I are important to God and we must do whatever we can.

AS I CLOSE, I PRAY FOR YOU TO MOTIVATE ANYONE AND CHALLENGE ANYONE WHOFEELS THE NEED TO HIDE AWAY TO COME OUT OF HIDING AND TO TAKE BACK OURRIGHTFUL PLACE...GOD IS NOT THROWING AMERICA AWAY. I BELIEVE HE IS USING
A WOMAN THAT HE HAS GROOMED IN ALASKA, TO COME TO THE FORE-FRONT FOR
SUCH A TIME AS THIS!

My email is MEA31975@aol.com

Be blessed...and know that all of this is for the GLORY and HONOR of GOD.

P.S. My only request, if you are able to let us know the area you are from so that we can
pin-point how God is getting the message all over the Globe...we will then report Nations
being impacted by this email.

Read this please and if you have any questions please contact me.

Pastor Mark Arnold (PLEASE READ ENTIRE STORY BELOW)
This past Tuesday, the McCain / Palin Bus came through a little town called, Lebanon , Ohio.

The LORD allowed me to go to the Rally giving them a message that He wanted me to personally deliver. Sunday Night - a burden hit me that would only shake me to my knees - I prayed and wept for our Nation. Never has my heart been so broken before God. I literally interceded for these wonderful people who do not deserve all the hate against them.

The GOD-Haters are going to try everything to stop them, but they will not succeed! God is not pleased with the 'bashing' in the News of this 'Anointed' person. He has called her for this time! I promised God that I would pray and hold them up in prayer. I would 'listen' out and be mindful of where they were.

The following day is important in this time-line...because I didn't even know until God spoke to me... Monday and into Monday Night - the burden of prayer was so heavy that I was literally shaking and could not stop weeping. I didn't know that they were coming to Ohio . I prayed and walked and wept and walked. I prayed and prayed and wept and prayed...

Tuesday at 2:00 A.M. - God spoke these words to me - '...Go turn the Radio on!' Immediately the Reporter's Words were - 'McCain & Palin Bus to be in Lebanon later this morning for a 10:00 A.M. Rally!' Immediately on hearing that news, I heard God again...God said, 'You are to go. You will meet them and give them a message for Me!' I prayed as an intercessor and went to a place in prayer that I don't think I've ever been...because the LORD had just visited me...and I knew I was on a ' Mission .' I had now been up since Sunday NIght...and now it's Tuesday and I've got to go on the 'WORD of the LORD.'

He sure became My Strength as this unfolds... I didn't stop praying until I drove over to the town and parked the car. The News would later report they were expecting 5,000 people and the actual head-count of those who had been scanned was more than 10,000 people. I simply obeyed...and God actually told me where to stand, who to talk to...and when to be on the move. I had sure learned on the Mission Field, when God wants to open a door, He will do it at the appropriate time. He always has someone to assist...and even those standing beside you may just be an Angel. I struck up a conversation with an agent on the ground - he simply said, 'I can't allow you to stand here!' Here is where the bus was going to actual pull up to. They had to make a much larger perimeter so the entire area was now being moved back several blocks. The only other thing he told me to do was to go through the metal detector zone and just watch from the back. So, that's what I did.

Due to sensitivity of the Internet...I can't share much of the story as to what happened next was a definite GOD THING ALL THE WAY. Looking over the shoulders and backs and heads of all those people...I knew it would take a miracle for what GOD told me to do. As I was standing there, two Boy Scouts came running up my back...literally, they almost knocked me to the ground because they were running so fast behind me...up my back and over to the right. These Boy Scouts were about Junior High Age. Their Scout Leader and several others were behind them...but as the two out front was trying to push through the crowd, saying they were late...the smaller scouts were left in their dust. The Scout Leader who was with a McCain Rep from the State grabbed me and told me bring the other Scouts up front as they try to keep up with the first two that just came through. I just became the leader of the rest of the Scouts to lead them right up front and center. As the Rep was shouting back at me...to bring the Scouts forward...the people parted just like God parted the Red Sea.

I marched them boys right up front and to the right of the stage as one was looking from the back. When I got there I was fifteen feet from the podium. GOD said, 'Stand here, and don't move from this spot.' Within five minutes...the bus pulled up and around the other side McCain, Sarah Palin and her husband Todd stepped up and the speeches took off. I was where God placed me...and even Sarah Palin and Todd were standing on my side of the stage. I made eye contact, I gave them thumbs up gestures...and I knew they were just happy to see me standing there. Ha Ha When they came around the podium and started on the other side, I knew they were coming right toward me, a little lady who stood by me, reached up and told the Rep that they had promised a Picture with her because she was the one who had lost a son in Iraq, recently.

The Rep confirmed she would get a pic with them and they would talk to her. When McCain came to hug her... he immdiately shook my hand and following his moment with her, I shook his hand as he grabbed my hand, now for the second time, and I said, 'God wants you to know that I'm praying for you, Sir!' He thanked me and kept smiling. I repeated that phrase to him five times. He grabbed my hands and looked right into my eyes and said, 'I won't make it without prayer. Sir, Thank You for praying for me, and don't let one day go by that you don't pray for me. I need all the prayers that I can get. Thank you, Thank you, Thank you!' As he moved to my right, Sarah Palin, came over to my left side...standing over the crowd and then looking at the little lady who had lost the son.

It took a moment for her to shake some hands and people were pushing in all around. Sarah came and got on her hands and knees on that side of the stage and hugged that little Mom, telling her, '...it was not in vain.' She promised her support. It was at this moment Sarah Palin, reached out for me to help her up and as I was assisting her to stand I was now face to face with her and GOD said, 'Open up your Mouth and I will fill it.' Here is what came out... 'God wants you to know that you are a present day Esther!' [She immediately began to cry]! 'God wants to tell you that you are Chosen for such a time as this!' 'You are called, and chosen to be a leader.' 'Don't lose heart and don't fear man.' 'The news and nay-sayers and criticizers are going to be very hateful toward you... and in the days ahead they are going to turn up the heat...but do not fear.' 'You are a present day Esther.' You are an Esther. You are an Esther! 'Keep your eyes on GOD and know that He has chosen you to Reign!' 'Stay strong...be strong...don't tire. Don't be weary in well-doing. Be strong.' Her husband Todd came over and I told him what I told her. He began to cry.

I emphasized the fact that he was to guard her at this time...and know that '...she is GOD-CALLED and GOD-ANOINTED.' '...this is a GOD-THING and your wife is a Present day Esther...she is for God to use at this time...She is an Esther...she is an Esther...she is an Esther.' 'You will be hated...but stand strong...GOD has called both of you to stand!' 'We are praying and I am praying for you...!'

At this moment, McCain came right to where I was finishing talking to Todd and I told Mr. McCain exactly what I told to Sarah and Todd Palin. 'Mr. McCain, ...they are called of God and she is an Esther.' 'Don't lose hope and don't lose heart.' 'We are praying for all of you!' He shook my hand and with a deep look of understanding what I had just said, he said, 'Thank you for your prayers and support...I really do mean that!' And he turned and shook more hands...and I watched them as they went through the crowd.

When I got to my car I sat there for quite a long time...knowing the GOD of the Universe had just used me to deliver a message confirming to Sarah and Todd to realize they are truly chosen vessels of God. I wept. I have not stopped praying and crying. My heart is full knowing they had to have all the staging and all the hype and all the crowd...but the GOD of Heaven and Earth...wanted to give them a Divine-God-Appointment! To God be all the GLORY and HONOR. If anyone wants to know if I believe God can speak. Yes...Absolutely, is my Answer! Be praying for me...and let me know what you think about all of this.

Mr. Martin

Here is a great article to read about Mr. Martin. Paul this past weekend finished 9th at Capital Criterium in Washington D.C. I wish I would have know about this race. I don't have to wait long as he will be telling us where to race next year. I look forward to Paul being our race director in 2009. I can wait for the races to start because I want to be in the best shape I have ever been in. It sure will be fun not racing against him for a change. Paul and Hekman in the break that I missed in Ann Arbor, sometimes you just have to go for it!

Family Pictures

We took some family pictures against this cute fall back drop. Caylin decided that Mommy and Daddy need a picture of just them. Too cute, she is!

Hay Ride

After the hay maze, we went on a hay ride through a pumpkin patch. The driver stopped and I got off to find my very own pumkin.
